Deer Valley Resort is nestled in the Wasatch Range in Utah, the USA, next to its most famous neighbor Park City Mountain Resort and consists of 6 interconnected mountains. With unparalleled service and skiing, it's a hidden treasure worth visiting!

History:

The concept of providing the optimal luxury experience is part of the Deer Valley Resort philosophy. Therefore, it was mainly a combination of the highest guest services, accommodation and food when Edgar Stern established the resort. No other resort offered this service-oriented ski experience when the Stern Family entered the ski resorts. Because of their years of hospitality experience, they were well placed to create the pinnacle of US ski resort luxury.

When Deer Valley Resort first opened in 1981, there were five chair lifts, 35 ski slopes and only two mountain lodges at Snow Park and Silver Lake. The next Deer Valley era is no longer familiar as it was acquired by Alterra and has become an integral part of the IKON pass and has expanded considerably ever since.

Skiing:

On-mountain grooming in the Wasatch Ski Area is unparalleled. More equipment than any other resort is used so that the skiing experience is smooth and suitable for all skiers, types and ages. Snowmaking at the start of the season is important to create a good base for pistes and ensure that the pistes are well covered in fewer years. The Deer Valley Resort covers this since the resort has accumulated 670 acres of snowmaking. In the same way, to maintain skiing quality on the slopes, the lift tickets are limited to a sale of around 7,500 daily, ensuring that the pistes are unbundled and that all restaurants offer plenty of seats to enjoy an unprecedented dining experience. Not just that, but Deer Valley Resort is a ski resort, one of the few left in North America that gives priority to skiers.

Equally impressive are the facts and figures for the resort. The uphill capacity of more than 50,000 skiers per hour is 50 percent higher than its larger neighbors, including the 21 chairlifts, 12 high-speed detachable quads, and a four-passenger gondola enclosed. The Little Baldy Peak, Bald Eagle, Flagstaff, Bald, Empire and Lady Morgan lifts cover 2,026 hectares of six mountains. Mountain by the mountain, everybody's skiing. Little Baldy Peak, Bald Eagle and Flagstaff are mainly beginners and intermediate cycles with fewer advanced cycles. The mountains of Baldy, Imperium and Lady Morgan have an incredible mix of terrain from smooth intermediate to more challenging and exciting experienced and advanced routes. The stimulating expert bowls of Empire and Bald Mountain or even the steep descents of Empire Canyon can be tried using six bowls. Deer Valley ground is 930 acres dedicated to meadows, perfect for tree skiing, waiting to be found if that wasn't enough.

Service to Guests

Naturally, due to its history and skiing experience, guest service is available along the lines of excellence. Deer Valley Resort is not only a pioneer in luxury and comfort but also an innovator. The Deer Valley was the first resort to provide many excellent services, including ski valets carrying ski equipment for our guests, free parking shuttles, a state-licensed child care facility and uniforms for all its staff. If you take your equipment a step further, it can even be stored free overnight at the bottom of one mountain so that you do not weigh your equipment. Not only this, there are even mountain facilities to demonstrate the commitment of the Deer Valley Resort to the skiing experience, such as the provision of tissue in the lifts and waterproof skiing maps to avoid the destruction of your aid in the negotiations around the mountains on those days.
